Lijiang Studio events in Kunming

Jianghu Mobile Video
During the week of March 21-27, Lijiang Studio’s Jianghu Mobile Video Machine will be cruising the streets and lanes of Kunming showing short creative video work from around the world. These appearances will examine the context in which we watch moving pictures.

Moving Image Installations
On Wednesday, March 23 at 18:30pm, Lijiang Studio will open the Jianghu 3 exhibition at the Speak Easy Bar. Video and installations by local ALAB and international artists feature: Mu Yumin (Lijiang), Liu BB (Shanghai), Noraset Vaisayakul (Bangkok), Daniela Butsch (Berlin) and many others (see flyers for more details or just follow the Mobile Video Machine).

Lijiang Studio
Lijiang Studio is a studio and residence program based in Kunming and Lijiang, which enables creative exchange between local and international, urban and rural cultural agents. Lijiang Studio is currently in the midst of Jianghu, a cycle of twelve events with diverse curatorial strategies, in which this is the third event.
