The Ethnic Culture-Ecological Villages Program’s main objectives are the conservation of ethnic environment and the transmission of ethnic culture. In this program, the ethnic groups play the main role in cultural transmission and village construction—the government and the Museum only assisting them in the process. The advocacy, support and completion of village construction by the villagers and their training throughout the process guarantee the sustainability of the project.
